Vancouver Artists Labour Union Co-operative
The Vancouver Artists Labour Union Co-operative (VALU CO-OP) is a unionized workers cooperative with a mission to transform labour practices within the arts and cultural sector to be equitable, community-oriented, and supportive of artists needs. VALU CO-OP provides equitable, flexible, and secure employment for artists, while advocating and organizing for the rights of all arts and cultural workers on a local, national, and international level.
This group of artists and community organizers are committed to challenging exploitative labour practices, building new organizing models & supporting existing organizing structures in the arts and cultural sector.
This brand identity design highlights the strength and solidarity of unions, while balancing the appeal to a wide audience that ranges from artists and activists to government officials and traditional-leaning corporations.
